Barry LEA

11/12 Lapraik Street, Ascot,QLD

Summary

Highly-motivated, confident employee with desire to take on new challenges. Strong work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Adept at working effectively unsupervised, quickly mastering new skills with an incomparable capacity to align mainstream requirements to specified cultural needs .

The enhanced ability in uncovering and understanding the needs of First Nations People from varying backgrounds has afforded me the skills to provide the required training, guidance and assistance for successful outcomes. By utilising my personal skills in consideration of obligatory expectations I have combined both the needs of participants and desires of relevant stakeholders to collectively attain a positive outcome.

From developing a literacy learning/teaching style working with disadvantaged Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island youth in Woodridge in the mid 90's through to designing an identified driver mentoring program (Deadly Drivers) specified to the needs of discreet remote First Nation communities and other adaptations to other programs in between.
