  • Head to a customers house using service mate to determine where we are working that day, take out the double hung sashes or awning sashes, use a biscuit cutter, plunge saw, multi tool and bottom cutter to cut the glass out of the frame.
  • Prep the frame we have taken the glass out with rubber, add a specific track to the bottom with setting blocks, place the glass in, cut timber beads to size using a black wedge that goes on the bead and pin the beads on to secure glass in place.
  • Change weights in the cavities to accommodate for the double glazed glass that is replacing the single panel we take out.
  • Also did do fixed panels which is the same process but without having to use the routers.
  • Drop cloths are placed where the windows are to keep the mess to a minium. Always leave the house tidier than when we get there.

  • Mucked out boxes and yards adding more saw dust to the boxes that were getting low
  • i would put all the riding gear on the yeilings ready for the jockeys eg, saddles, bridles, boots, rugs, and helped fit items to specific horses.
  • Feed run, Refill water buckets
  • Take the gear off the horse, wash and rug them, put them on the walker to cool down. then after 10 or 20mins take them back to their box.

  • Cleaned hotel rooms and public areas, eg vaccume, mop, take out the rubbish, strip and make the bed, refill the rooms with new soaps, shampoos, coffee,tea,milk etc all in a specific time frame.

  • Load and unload the feed trucks using the forklift and Rearrange the feed shed so all the pallets were neat and tidy.


  • Feed Run, where i would load up a trailer and drive around the farm feeding the paddocks of yeilings and nannies, checking for any injuries that they may have, checking their water and for any broken fences.
  • Mow the lawns on the ride on mower.
  • Hold and Lead the horses for the farriers

  • i put together window frames and sashes, hinge doors and sliding doors, i spent days cutting reveals to size, fitting them to the frames and staple them on. I would also have alot of time glazing aswell but my main role was fabrication.
  • Fabricated and altered parts with punches, drills and saws.
  • Performed finishes by trimming and deburring to create smooth surfaces and joints of assembled parts.

  • i worked at Heartland cool store where I drive a forklift everyday moving/stacking pallets and wooden bins full of apples as well as loading and unloading trucks.
  • we had to stack bins 9 high in rooms that had over 300 in a room so we have to learn how to work in tight spaces as the rooms were filling up.
  • I also had to use a tablet to direct where I am placing/taking out pallets and bins into certain rooms.
  • One of my main responsibilities was counting how many bins were coming off the trucks and making bin cards to staple onto the wooden bins we knew how much there was and where to put it.

  • I had been working at Kina Gardens, a spring onion factory.
  • I had the responsibility of packing them into bags, quality checking them before we wrapped them on pallets and had them sent away.
  • I also had to print out bin cards for them and write labels to direct where they were going.
  • I got my Forklift license as I had to load and unload trucks with the pallets of wrapped binned spring onions and then also bring round the dirty unwashed ones to the people that washed them.

  • I had to assemble them together which involved a lot of machinery as in drop saws, air guns/drills.
