I am currently working as an Enrolled Nurse in an Aged care environment, hoping to gain more experience in other fields of nursing such as hospital based and community settings. I want to expand on my skills and find brighter pathways to gain opportunities for my career as also a student studying Bachelor of Nursing.

Sub-Acute Placement at Cabrini Private Hospital, Malvern East

• - applied knowledge and right practice with delivering medication with preceptor and knowing what each medication was treating and side effects to observe with patient.
• -continue with developing confidence with attending to patient's ADL's to the best of my ability.
• -i practiced my skills of administering sub-cutaneous medication by going through rights and demonstrating to properly dispose of equipment.
• -have received helpful and positive appraisal from clinical educator.

Acute Placement at Eastern Health Box Hill hospital, Box Hill

• July2023 — August2023
• -I used my1 month placement to focus on my critical thinking and judgment to determine best possible of care to deliver to my patient, through appropriate interventions that will suit the best interest of my patients health from deteriorating.
• - I worked alongside my preceptor, ANUM and some Doctors to discuss patients condition when identified as an abnormal state of matter for the patient's health.
• -Continued on developing my skills through administration of medication of all different routes- oral/sub-cut/IV and wound care.
• -Also using the care plan of all patients, specifically with palliative in order for them to receive the comfort care they need. As well as collaboratively working alongside family that have legal rights to be involve with the care of the patient in confidence.
