Additional Information

Over the past 18 years, I have dedicated my career to serving the community as a valued member of SSC. During my tenure, I have had the privilege of working in various capacities, including over 10 years at the Supervisor and now Team Leader level. Acting as Manager for the PSL unit on numerous occasions, in relatively recent times, this experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of local emergency management requirements and the ability to navigate complex situations with efficiency and professionalism.


As part of my incumbent role with SSC, I have chaired weekly Beach Safety Group meetings, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and ensuring the effective dissemination of critical information to relevant parties. Through this experience, I have developed strong leadership skills, facilitated productive discussions, and drove initiatives that prioritise public safety.


Recently appointed as SSC's Deputy LEMO.


With my extensive operational leadership experience, proven performance, formal training, qualifications and involvement in various Local Government and Public Safety, I believe I am very well-suited to excel in this six (6) month Acting Manager Public Safety & Lifeguards role is the perfect opportunity
