As a Consulting Vacationer at Deloitte, I worked alongside the Digital Twins' Product team, gaining invaluable firsthand experience by collaborating on genuine projects with experts from diverse fields. This opportunity allowed me to explore various aspects of consulting operations, interact with consultants of different skill levels and experiences, and expand both my understanding of the industry and my professional network. I conducted comprehensive competitor analysis within the digital twin industry, supported the marketing team in identifying market opportunities and developing the marketing calendar, and carried out in-depth research on digital twins in the energy industry. I assisted with the delivery of the Working for Victoria project, which was the Victoria Government's response to unemployment during the COVID-19 pandemic. I supported multi-functional projects for the initiative, including human resources, business support, finance, and general administration, and prepared reports on program delivery for the Victorian Government. Additionally, I administered the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new staff members, created a centralized filing system for the initiative to ensure records were maintained and updated accurately, and produced a report on key learnings and feedback on the recruitment process to inform improvements for future processes. I also performed frontline library services such as shelving, processing holds, and managing loans and returns of special items. I served as Acting Manager for the Empowerment Program for seven months, where I implemented integrated intake processes that shortened the membership process from up to a month to less than a week for new applicants.
