I have grown up on a 150-acre farm my whole life, caring for goats and cattle, which has always been my passion and the career I plan to pursue. Being homeschooled allowed me to have a very practical, hands-on childhood—riding dirt bikes, welding, woodworking, pulling engines apart, and being creative in the shed have always been some of my favorite things to do.
Growing up on a farm instilled in me the values of hard work, reliability, keeping my workspace clean and orderly, and getting in and getting the job done. I enjoy challenging work and am always looking for opportunities to grow and build my skill set. I have a strong work ethic, work well in a team, and am always willing to listen and learn. I am highly self-motivated and committed to any role I take on, always striving to improve and develop my abilities.
Over the last year, I have volunteered at many rodeos and was asked to be the PA for the Tamworth PBR and the National Finals Rodeo. I am also starting to announce at smaller events, developing my public speaking and event management skills.
I have also demonstrated my leadership and commitment at a Jiu Jitsu gym in Tamworth, where within a few months I was teaching and assisting kids’ classes. My role included running warm-ups and interacting with both kids and parents, and I was later nominated school captain that year.
