  • My key duties included but were not limited to payroll, invoicing, checking vans in to stock, cataloging stock, paperwork for contracts, consignments and used caravans
  • Managing all incoming and outgoing monies, deposits and payments for customers collecting their new vans
  • A large portion of my role was also reconciling accounts and recording correctly for tax (using Xero)

  • I started at Buderim Vet Surgery, employed a couple of days per week in a casual role, which quickly moved to full time and as Head Vet Nurse for 8 years
  • On a daily basis I managed 4 vets, specialists and their bookings when needed, animal care and husbandry, up to 6 vet nurses, rosters including annual leave
  • Surgery was also a very important part of the business and required careful management so not to overbook a vet or coordinate with a specialist coming in to perform a specific surgery
  • My other duties included front desk customer service, responsibility for sterilization of instruments, making sure staff followed correct procedures, banking and reconciliation of monies at the end of each day.
