  • Worked as part of a multidisciplinary team including OT, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Positive Behaviour Support in a community setting with NDIS clients of all ages
  • Participated in interventions including: The Interoception Curriculum, online shopping and budgeting, social play and handwriting skills, wheelchair and other AT prescriptions, hydrotherapy sessions, cooking, goal setting and wheelchair trials.

  • Worked directly with children addressing diverse diagnoses such as ASD, ADHD, GDD, motor planning difficulties, and emotional regulation challenges.

I have also been on a 3 week placement with Better Rehab, which is, in which I was exposed to a range of different assessments and treatment.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills, I have developed strong communication and interpersonal skills throughout my career as an engineer, working on oil rigs all over the world. Due to the extreme nature, and isolation of the work, it was imperative that the team bonded and relied heavily upon one another. I have strong written communication skills, which is evidenced by my success in writing succinct and xxx assignments as part of my university degree and engineering reports for large organisations such as BP and Woodside.
  • Ability to Work Independently, I have demonstrated the ability to work independently on a recent placement where I was give a student project to complete. This project required me to interview all 30 OT’s at Better Rehab and write a synopsis of a success story they have had within their work. I independently organised every, designed and complied a document, which was later published as a book for the office. I have worked as part of a multidisciplinary team whilst on placement, liasing with physio’s, exercise physiologists, speech therapists and allied health assistants. In addition I have work as part of a multidisciplinary team as a specialist well designer, this entailed working with geologists, geophysistics, production engineers and project manager to design a develop the optimal well design to satisfy all stakeholders.
