  • Directly managed a large annual park and over 50’s Village, which included overall operations of both complexes. The large annual park required ongoing legal expertise in collating, lodging and attending hearings weekly in N.C.A.T, so a wide understanding of the legalities relating to site agreements both casual and permanent was required, as was complete knowledge of the rental tenancies act covering the rental properties that were in the same complex.
  • As a regional manager the role encompassed responding to day-to-day enquiries from managers in individual parks and villages, resolving resident disputes, actioning capital expenditure budgets, managing staff and rosters, financial reporting and control of the budgets for the parks and villages, offering support and mentoring to Managers to help them achieve career goals. The company was being restructured for a sale to Hometown Australia and Regional Managers and Management couples were being made redundant, we took the opportunity to return to Queensland.
