Currently working for Services Australia as a Service Officer APS level 4, processing claims and assisting customers with enquiries.

Prior to that i spent over 3 years working as a Teachers Assistant, working with high needs students in grades 7-10. Skilled in assisting teachers with classroom functions, lesson planning and individual and group instruction. Currently Medaz, Asthma and Epi Pen trained. Have current manual handling training and Meal Management training.

Experienced in recognizing behavioural changes and reporting accordingly following organisations policies and procedures. Receiving and forwarding on complaints using the correct channels. Completing forms on incidents, risk and behaviour.

Prior to being a Teacher's Assistant i worked for 8 years for Mosaic Disability Services working with adults 1-1 and in group settings.

Prior to Disability work I worked in Aged Care for 8 years. Assisted in all areas including, manual handling, showering/toileting, assisting with meals following individual meal management plans, communicating with families and advocating and addressing complaints for residents and families when necessary. I was lucky to also spend 2 years in the Dementia unit at Lillian Martin nursing home working with residents with different degrees of Dementia.
