Work History
Installation Coordinator/QLD & NT Sales Executive/Administration
AJ Baker & Sons Pty Ltd
Seventeen Mile Rocks, QLD
10.2015 - Current
I started with AJ Baker & Sons in 2015 in an administration role, carrying out tasks in all aspects of administrative support which includes but is not limited to being the first point of contact for customers face-to-face and via phone, petty cash, credit card reconciliations, processing of timesheets and provide general administrative support to all teams.
While in the role of Administrative Support at A J Baker & Sons I was offered and accepted the role of QLD & NT Sales Executive. In this sales role it is my sole responsibility to grow sales in the ice machine and plug-in refrigerated sectors of the business in key states by meeting and exceeding KPI's, enhance current business relationships with major clients while also developing new relationships with key corporate business sector clients.
After being in the QLD & NT Sales Executive role for some time, due to personal reasons I requested a more office based role to suit my circumstances. I was offered the role of Installation Coordinator in addition to the sales role until another sales executive was procured, at which time my principal role became Installation Coordinator with continued office based support to sales, where needed.
In the Project Coordinator role, I was the point of contact for all major project enquiries from staff, subcontractors, customers, suppliers & support to all project managers. My role included project invoicing, preparation of purchase orders, goods receiving supplier invoices and administration support to project managers, as well as being assistant to the director.
My current role as Airconditioning Coordinator involves coordinating HVAC projects and service operations by managing schedules, communication, documentation, and logistics between technicians, clients, and management. As the sole administrative support for the air conditioning department, I see all service jobs from start to finish - logging the call, allocating the technician, scheduling, ordering parts, tracking project progress and invoicing to completing while supporting the air conditioning manager with major projects.
Assistant Manager
Temt
Mt Ommaney, QLD
10.2014 - 10.2015
As assistant manager, I helped managing the team for a fashion store at Mt Ommaney reporting to the store manager and area manager.
This role includes opening and closing, rosters, training new staff, banking, theft prevention, customer complaint resolution and monitoring work practices amongst the sales assistants.
I was also responsible for merchandising all window and in store displays of stock changed on a weekly basis, meeting individual and store KPI's, increasing sales with excellent customer service levels and develop good relationships with regular customers.
It was imperative I complete store documentation and online reporting with accuracy and in a timely manner.
Store Manager
Go Sushi
Ipswich, QLD
11.2008 - 10.2014
As store manager, I was required to undertake a range of duties including hiring and training of staff, staff supervision, rosters, set staff tasks, goals and KPI's, customer complaint resolution and ensure WH&S standards were always met and exceeded.
I identified the organisation's strengths and weaknesses, respond to opportunities, develop and implement appropriate strategies, liaise with internal and external stakeholders building good relationships, attend regular seminars - new product launches, marketing etc.
I lead by example from the front and earned the respect of my team, not just with my willingness to share in additional duties and housekeeping but by performing all tasks to the best of my ability.
