Work History

Management Accountant

Deloitte
Sydney, Australia
01.2024 - Current
  • As a Management Accountant for the Tax & Legal Finance Business Partnering team, I prepare and present monthly management reports to stakeholders, develop and maintain financial models, and process month-end journals and reconciliations. Delving deeper, my responsibilities include:
  • Managing and maintaining models and reports for Tax & Legal's Expense categories (computer/software, staff/FTE, consulting fees). This also includes timely processing and coding of invoices, prepayments, recharges, and journals for accurate financial reporting, highlighting key metrics, trends, and variances and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Worked with the Business Finance lead and managers in the annual financial planning process by ensuring accurate forecasting that aligns with organizational priorities and the firm's strategy. I integrated top-down guidance with bottom-up input by utilising key cost drivers (i.e. inflation rate, interest rate, full-time equivalent (FTE) staff) to ensure costs and forecasts were appropriately allocated to the correct cost centers and business units.
  • Utilised advanced Excel skills and data analysis expertise to streamline workflows, reduce human labour & human error in financial models, and drive operational improvements.
