I am a registered workplace psychologist specialising in employee surveys, corporate culture, organisational development, and change management. I also possess an exceptionally strong technical basis in quantitative analysis and psychometric assessment. I've come from an early background working in psychometrics and educational research in the public sector, which then led into organisational psychology and management consulting in a commercial setting. A large part of my role has always been managing complex projects, working with technology, drawing insights from data, and creating evidence-based decisions. The science behind understanding how people behave and how organisations function is integral to how I work and ensures the advice and recommendations I provide my clients works. I’ve just finished up a challenging consulting role working with clients across a broad range of organisations and industries, achieving exceptional results for clients via tailored solutions development. At Voice Project (now Xref) I've had the opportunity to lead some of our largest and most complex survey projects, particularly universities, as well as working with smaller organisations that can be incredibly rewarding. I've also had the privilege to be head of our technology team for most of my time at Voice, and have led the development of our capability to deliver new services and products, and build up aspects of the business to achieve profitability.

Risk Culture Benchmarking & Research Project:
Voice Project was approached by Professor Elizabeth Sheedy of Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre. Through extensive research Professor Sheedy had developed a risk culture survey that had already been psychometrically refined and validated across various banking institutions. We formed a partnership with the aim of assisting her to further validate the instrument within the Australian Superannuation Industry. I oversaw our part of the project and worked alongside Elizabeth to further refine the content, develop the online tool, associated reporting system, and sector wide benchmarking report. We worked closely with six institutions to roll out the survey across all of their staff, and provided ongoing and follow up consulting support. As the project was conducted in the context of the Hayne Royal Commission, the political sensitivity was high and careful stakeholder management was key to ensuring the success of the project. All of the institutions received great value from the project, with several initiating follow up work in subsequent years.
IT Service Quality Benchmarking (ITSQB) Project:
Voice Project acquired this proprietary survey and all related aspects of the business from Systems Thinking Pty Ltd. The survey had been used across most universities in Australia and New Zealand by internal IT Support teams to measure staff and student satisfaction with the services they provide. Supervising a team of staff allocated to the project, it was my role to integrate the product with our own systems, develop the online survey and reporting system, manage the promotion and roll out to new and existing clients and stakeholders, develop sector wide benchmarking reports, and build the business up to profitability. The survey was successfully rolled out to 19 universities in the first year, providing an ROI of over 100%.
NSW Public Service Commission:
Voice was successful in securing the tender for the NSW People Matters Survey, with our submission being led by myself. This was a staff engagement survey that was distributed across the entire NSW Public Service (approximately 380,000 people). Working with the Deputy Commissioner, I was responsible for delivering the project and assembled a team of staff to carry it out. I was involved in all aspects of the project from survey design, piloting, implementation, reporting, and follow on advisory services. The survey was delivered across eight clusters of government, and over 200 separate government departments and agencies. I also coordinated the development of the state of the sector report, main findings report, in depth cluster reports, and an automated reporting system for all of the lower level Departments and Agencies.
