Summary

For the position of Energy Specialist, I feel I can confidently assist Ergon customers with any inquiry, question or complaint. I am happy to attempt to rectify any issues or conflicts and I feel I can do so cheerfully and with the mindset that if they are feeling negative about our brand that I can convert their opinion. My previous experience in Customer Service has helped me learn how to empathize with people which usually resolves issues with an extremely positive outcome.

I find myself always wanting to please people and I take other people's opinions of me to heart which encourages me to assist everyone in a pleasant and efficient manner but I also always consider the businesses needs and interests.

  • In 1999 I was hired as a simple Kitchen Hand. I was delegated menial duties such as keeping the kitchen tidy, removing trash and waste, Cleaning bench tops, washing/scrubbing dishes, storing prepped stock and ensuring stock rotation following FIFO.
  • In 2003 we relocated close to the Hogs Breath restaurant in Condon and I began working as a Front of House staff member. I was regularly in charge of maintaining "sections" which were usually groups of between 6 - 10 separate tables. I would be responsible for ensuring each and every guest was looked after and I pride myself on making sure every customer's expectations were exceeded.
  • In 2007 I became the Restaurant Manager was was responsible for ensuring EVERY guest that entered the restaurant was receiving the same level of service I strived to deliver if I was looking after a single section. I achieved this not only through delegation of tasks (not so much micromanaging but training them to be self aware and attentive of customer needs) but also by leading by example.
  • As a Franchisee I aim to earn profits through strict regulation of rostered hours to keep Labour costs to a minimum, Monitoring kitchen practises to keep food costs low and pushing advertising campaigns to increase customer frequency.
