I am a Process Engineer who’s been lucky to work in such a large range of projects/roles over my 2.5 years post study experience.
I consider myself a valuable team member who is social and team oriented. I’ve really enjoyed being able to lead projects and being allowed to use creativity to solve problems. I consider myself a perfectionist when it comes to work I take responsibility of, and enjoy learning from people more experienced and sharing my experience with new employees.
I think I provide a great level of experience for the amount of time I’ve been out of University. I’m excited to keep developing my career with bigger and better projects.
Work History
Asset Management/Integrity Engineer
2 Years 10 Months- Facilitate Fitness-for-Service (FFS) assessments for remaining life of pipeline assets. Maximising the life span and ensuring minimum downtime to assets while remaining safe.
- Managing the investigations of integrity incidents, ensuring that the root causes are effectively understood and communicated.
- Scoping repairs to pipelines to AS 2885 after reviewing Non-FFS NDT reports.
- Research into effectively managing our MIC and CO2 inhibitors, ensure that Santos are effectively dosing the pipeline assets to minimise cost and reduce risk.
Project Engineer
1 Month- Provided technical expertise throughout all phases of the project, ensuring accurate execution of designs and specifications.
- Maintained records and schedules throughout the full length of the project.
- Monitored installation of materials and equipment for compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Completed construction tasks while maintaining a high level of safety, and monitoring construction on-site.
- Management of budgets (>$1M) of both CAPEX and OPEX work.
Also includes being used as a process safety engineer to ensure compliance to MHF regulations and effectiveness of safety critical and critical elements on site. As well as creating and facilitating the implementation of a SCE management system for Mobil Oil NZ and Mobil Oil Fiji.
Hazards areas, PSV Settings, TRV verification, LOPA Verifications, SCE identification, SCE verification.
Maintenance Engineer
11 Months- Organised contractor scopes for all planned maintenance over two sites in Wellington
- Apart of site operations of a midstream Oil and Gas Terminal, including ship bunkers, sampling, ship receipts, etc.
- Reduced the amount of overdue critical maintenance by providing contractors with 12 month + outlooks on planned maintenance.
- Involvement in high priority non-planned maintenance such as over-water oil pipeline blast and wraps, Pigging pipelines for Mothballing, removal of 100s of meters of abandoned pipework.

- Group Project, Decarbonisation of Antarctica NZ operations by designing a hydrogen electrolyser system.

Personal Interests
Moving to Australia I’ve picked up and am enjoying learning to surf, with long boards being my best friend at the moment.
I have a dream to travel Europe and Asia, in particular sailing the Mediterranean would be top of my list. I’d also love to drive around Australia.
I love practicing and composing music, most songs I’m learning on Guitar are surf rock/rock. I’m also learning keyboard, and use this to create House and EDM Music.
