I transform, connect and analyse big data using various programming languages to produce actionable insights. In this role, I:

• Create various Excel and Power Query models to assist with pulling metrics data and presenting information to stakeholders for concise explanations of best placement for needed resources.
• Evaluate trends to understand compliance environments and assess current compliance strategies.
• Create and improve intelligence resources to facilitate consistent data management strategies by designing and developing schema data models with Power Query and DAX.
• Produce and automate monthly reports for Senior Management using advanced Excel and Power BI based functions.

I lead complex end-to-end compliance and assurance work to ensure Australia’s wealthiest people and transnational groups are fulfilling their taxation obligations. I achieve this by analysing tax risks, build taxpayer profiles and conducting taxpayer reviews.

• Scheduled and conducted evaluations of company policies, procedures and internal control structures.

• Conducted research, gathered information from multiple sources and presented results to key internal stakeholders.
• Managed multiple external relationships by communicating weekly insight results and providing administration support to the business.

• Diagnosed and repaired electrical defects in core mining assets in harsh conditions and high-pressure environments.
