- As a part of my Bachelor of nursing degree, for3 weeks throughout the month of October I attended the St Paul De Chartes aged care facility in an unpaid nurse training role
- This involved my travelling from Carindale to Ipswich and working full time shift work5 days a week anywhere from7am to10pm
- Throughout this time it was my responsibility to uphold the universities standards and independently apply my in class learning in the health field, as well as openly take and effectively apply feedback from the senior employees

- As the2023 academic year came to an end, I wanted to gain some life experience and explore other interests
- I applied for and obtained a paid vacation role at a large-scale cattle station in upper Queensland, ‘Muttaburra’
- This was only a temporary role and a chance to widen my skill sets, as I was given the chance to gain further independence living by myself on the station, improving my practical knowledge on agriculture, and furthering my work ethic working long hours as a farm laborer
- Performed routine equipment maintenance, resulting in fewer breakdowns and increased operational efficiency.
- Contributed to cost savings by identifying opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
