Yes that's me holding a giant crocodile after hours of wrestling it to the ground I took my opportunity to grab a quick photo. I am usually found out looking for adventure or something new, that is why I moved all the way from Wales to sunny Australia for my working holiday visa. I will be staying in Airlie beach for the next 6 months of my time here & would like a new challenge.
So here is a bit about myself, I have always been a very self motivated & confident person. In all of the results-driven professions I have been a part of i have stood out from the rest. I now share extensive experience in sales and customer relationship management, most notably at Escape Records and Admiral Insurance. Known for strategic decision-making and negotiation skills that have substantially improved client engagement and sales performance.
In my other travels I also took on new roles & challenges becoming a highly productive Ground Operations Agent recognized for effective communication and teamwork, ensuring seamless ground operations and superior passenger experiences.
As part of my role, it was my responsibility to meet and exceed sales targets each month. We set up hug events across the UK, with over 10,000 people.
I was our lead sales executive, having to actively seek new sales opportunities through various avenues, including telephone, online, and social media networks. This included setting up meetings with potential clients, building relationships with those clients to enhance opportunities for sales. I boasted a high success rate, with an average of £9,000 in sales monthly.
While travelling in Canada, I took the opportunity to change my role and seek new challenges. As part of my role, I would oversee the daily operations of groundwork at the resort. This required me to transport guest luggage with the use of company golf carts. Greet guests upon arrival in a welcoming manner. Train and supervise staff, ensuring all standards and regulations are maintained. Perform repairs and maintenance of camp facilities in accordance with safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
As a housekeeper, I would be making beds, changing linens, and distributing clean towels and toiletries. Otherwise, I would be running errands, picking up and dropping off dry cleaning, and taking messages.
I spent five years working in a customer service environment, which included extensive analysis and negotiation work.
I reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted claims to promote fair and prompt settlement.
The main task for me was to negotiate a settlement with the customer, ensuring a fair outcome for both the business and the client. This built my negotiation and objection handling skills. As part of my day, I entered claim transactions, payments, reserves, and other documents.
As a support handler to the management team, I generated and reviewed daily reports using Excel, which were implemented company-wide.
I was part of a two-person team that revolutionized an online claim-handling system to better assist with handling times for claims.
My first role was within the finance industry, where I assisted in various areas of the business, including internet banking, general banking, loans, credit cards, and complaints. I dealt with financial queries for multiple products, including finance applications. I managed and handled transactions on a daily basis. I also developed key customer service skills, which have assisted me throughout my career.
