Director CE Solutions :

  • Manage the day to day running of the business including commercial planning and co-ordination with our clients, suppliers and accounting staff;

Contracts Advisor - Maintenance

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, Goonyella Riverside Mine, work with assigned superintendents and ensure:
  • Contractors are working in compliance with QLD Coal Mining Act and Regulations, and BMA Contractor Management requirements;
  • Contractors execute works as per contract particulars including scope of works requirements, safety requirements and commercial requirements.
  • Effective onboarding and off boarding of required contractors and contracts to achieve GRM Maintenance requirements.
  • Constant monitoring and improvement of Contractor Management across Site and BMA in conjunction with other departments.

Field Operations Manager

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Organising operators and co-ordinating start up of all wet hires Ezyquip wide;
  • Liaise with clients/branch managers and establish operator and machinery requirements;
  • Establish training/induction requirements and ensure operators are despatched with correct qualifications.
  • Ensure safety requirements are met according to customer and Ezyquip policies. This includes writing, implementing and reviewing Work Method Statements, and overseeing other policies such as Fatigue Management, Journey Management, and driver policies;
  • Co-ordinate fleet of Light Vehicles to meet hire requirements;
  • Co-ordination of all drill rig and stabiliser wet hire operations;
  • Manage the employment of all Ezyquip plant operators including onboarding as required, performance management, termination/redundancy if required;
  • Create and implement policy and procedure as required to better manage and control wet hire operations;
  • Extensive involvement in pricing and quoting wet hire work;
  • Operate machinery as required;
  • Training of operators as required.

Duties included but were not limited to:

  • Co-ordinate a team of up to 10 field maintenance staff to complete all required breakdown and preventative maintenance in the western QLD area.
  • Liaise with clients and co-ordinate breakdown and scheduled maintenance.
  • Order, receive and organise all required parts for breakdown and scheduled maintenance.
  • Oversee ready for hire process and keep branch staff updated on available machinery, and required repair times.
  • Use of computer programs such as Baseplan and Excel to keep company records and organise branch activities.
  • Training of new service staff as required.

Duties encompassed organising and co-ordinating overburden operations in conjunction with opposing shift and site superintendents including:

  • Pre-starting crews and organising daily activities to meet production targets.
  • Overseeing safe operation of two fleets of 777 caterpillar and 785 Komatsu ridged dump trucks, one Hitachi 2400 excavator, one Hitachi 1200 excavator, fifteen D11 pre-strip dozers, and support equipment such as water trucks, graders, 20 tonne excavators etc.

  • Maintenance included service and repairs, preventative maintenance, parts ordering and record keeping of all repairs and maintenance.
