• - Controlling all movements made within the centre, making sure the path is safe before officers continue their escorts
• - Logging all movements and other duties made within the centre into occurrence logs

• Currently employed full time as a DSO officer for SERCO immigration detention centre
• As a DSO it’s my job to insure the Safety and Security of all detainees (High risk/Low risk) and Staff while treating them with Dignity and Respect
• The role includes multiple roles from making sure the detainees have sufficient supplies, escorting them to activities, interviews or visits, maintaining a safe environment, patrolling the common areas to ensure the area is safe and no contraband gets in, monitoring CCTV's and taking detainees on transportation escorts to hospitals or airport
• I’m working a rotating 12 hour shift roster

• As an owner of Jims fencing franchise I managed and maintained my own business and clientele building different styles of fencing and decking for my clients

• I had an after school job collecting and stacking the trolleys for BI-LO Supermarket at the Lalor Plaza for a year and worked typically 9 hours a week

• I worked in the Occupational Health and Safety Department for two weeks assisting with general office activities
• Some of the specific jobs were to design a First Aid notice and using a computer to generate floor plans for emergency evacuation notices
