Navaska is a Brisbane based HVAC company that specializes in large commercial and residential installations. They also have a service team that performs maintenance and repairs on industrial, commercial and residential HVAC systems. I have been a leading hand here for the past 2 years, contributing to the completion of 2 high rise residential towers on the Gold Coast.

During my time at Navaska I have carried out the following work:

• Installation and commissioning of HVAC control systems. Including relay's, contactor's, timers, selector switches and push buttons.
• Installation of cable management systems including cable tray, ladder tray, conduit (including cast in) and catenary wire.
• Installation and commissioning of VSD's and induction motors.
• Building and installing switchboards and control panels.
• Rough in and fit off LV and ELV cables.
• Worked from ladders, scaffolds and lifts to install, maintain, or repair various electrical equipment.
• Performed thorough electrical testing on mains, switchboards and sub circuits - including continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and fault current - to comply with AS/NZ3000
• Contributed to the successful completion of large-scale projects by coordinating with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople.
• Collaborated with other trades on job sites to ensure work is completed in the most efficient and productive way, without any clashes.

EJ Electrical Works are a local Gold Coast based company that specialize in all types of LV electrical maintenance and breakdowns. They also complete small and large commercial electrical installations and fit outs.

During my time at EJ Electrical Works, I carried out the following:

• Installed and maintained large commercial lighting and electrical systems.
• Commercial switchboard installation and upgrades.
• Installed underground HD conduit for electrical mains and sub circuits.
• Industrial plant fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment.
• Split system and ducted air conditioning installation and repairs.
• Examined building plans and schematics to determine location of wiring and equipment.
• Performed thorough electrical testing on mains, switchboards and sub circuits - including continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and fault current - to comply with AS/NZ3000
• Inspected electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustment or repair.

Bondy's Contractors are a small company in Horsham, where i grew up. I acquired the job at the end of my high school completion. Bondy's partake in a wide range of electrical work including solar, battery systems, air conditioning, data and general LV electrical. I worked closely with skillful tradesman for my entire apprenticeship.

During my time here, I carried out the following:

• Acquired valuable hands-on experience with various types of wiring systems by assisting experienced electricians in diverse installation projects.
• Understood and used proper tools and equipment to install and maintain electrical systems.
• Assisted in the successful completion of various commercial and residential projects by providing reliable support to qualified electricians.
• Learned and followed latest electrical codes and regulations to deliver compliant electrical systems.
• Read and interpreted blueprints and electrical schematics to determine layout of electrical systems.
