Benjamin (Ben) Earner

During the last 4 years, I have tutored over 20 students, in year 11 & 12 methods and specialist Maths subjects and year 11 & 12 Chemistry.

I have managed a workload of approximately 5 - 7 students on a weekly basis, whilst maintaining my own studies to achieve a GPA of 7.

I believe I have during this time:

• Boosted student understanding by developing clear and concise tutoring materials.
• Strengthened student problem-solving skills with tailored exercises and practice problems.
• Guided students to academic success by providing tutoring sessions based on individual learning styles.

I have found tutoring an extremely rewarding experience. There is a sense of satisfaction in watching students grow and improve over time. I have realised over time the importance of being able to explain concepts in different ways, depending on the students ability to understand the subject matter.
