Benson Miller

· Hello, I’m Benson Miller, born and raised in the Wimmera, and now residing in Geelong. Last year I completed my Bachelor of Business at Deakin University. My education journey has been enriched by my time at St Patrick’s College in Ballarat and through a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placement where I collaborated with a team to enhance the practices of the Marine Mammal Foundation. What sets me apart is my strong connection to community and leadership, both of which I cultivate through my passion for football. The sport not only provides a sense of camaraderie but also offers me opportunities to practice leadership in a less formal environment, which I find incredibly valuable.

For the last six months, I have been working at AKD as a Human Resources Graduate, where I’ve gained valuable experience in areas such as recruitment, workforce planning, and employee engagement. One of the aspects I’ve enjoyed most is developing strong relationships across the business, which has helped me grow both professionally and personally. I’m now looking for a more challenging role that will continue to stretch my capabilities, support my development, and allow me to make a positive impact within a dynamic team.
