WARD NURSE

• In collaboration with members of the healthcare team plan, implement and evaluates patient/client care.
• Practice in accordance with the NMBA codes and guidelines for registered nurses and midwives.

FLOAT NURSE

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in different wards assigned by Royal Hobart Hospital rostering officers where staffing gaps are available.
• Contribute to the maintenance and promotion of a safe work environment.
• Liaise with clinical managers, integrated team members to assist in patient transfers from ward to ward or emergency to ward transfers to facilitate patient movement within the hospital.

Rehabilitation Unit, Oncology Unit, Neuro-Surgical Unit, Medical Unit, Orthopaedic Unit

• Practice in accordance with Calvary and relevant Government Health policies and procedures, the position description, Code of Conduct and industrial agreements.
• Giving direct care to a specific patient population within each unit.
