The Role of each Training, Workforce and Engagement Officer is to assist in the delivery and design of FPDNs comprehensive and coordinated national training project in collaboration with the Learning Design Officers and the Technical Support Learning Programs Officer. The Training, Workforce and Engagement Officers are located across the nation to increase the accessibility and contextualisation of training and engagement to suit community needs and cultural protocols. The Training, Workforce and Engagement Officer will engage with local ACCO’s, ACCHO’s, local stakeholder organisations, as well as First Peoples living with a disability, their carers, families and support networks to increase their capacity and their understanding of disability rights and human rights.
