Strategic and relational educational leader with extensive experience driving curriculum excellence, pedagogy, and capability building across complex P-12 settings. As Head of Curriculum (Secondary - Year 7 to 12 & Specialist Programs) at Goodna Special School, I lead system-aligned curriculum, assessment, and moderation processes that strengthen teacher practice and student engagement.
I bring deep expertise in inclusive education, data-informed decision-making, and evidence-based pedagogy through coaching and professional learning networks. My leadership fosters collaboration, clarity, and sustainable improvement - ensuring every learner and educator thrives.
Led curriculum design and teacher capability within multi-age settings (Years 7–12). Delivered school-based professional development, embedded YuMi Deadly Maths, and developed a Numeracy Data Wall to track improvement. Coordinated timetabling, reporting, and compliance processes across multiple teaching teams.
Delivered differentiated programs for students with intellectual disability, ASD, and physical impairments. Designed modified curriculum and assessment in English, History, and Music, and collaborated on school-wide behaviour and engagement frameworks.

Facilitated a state-wide professional learning community connecting curriculum leaders across the South East Cluster to implement Australian Curriculum v9 and the revised Numeracy General Capabilities, strengthening pedagogical alignment and leadership capability across multiple schools.
Senior Secondary Curriculum Revamp (2023-2025)
Led a strategic redevelopment of Senior Secondary curriculum at Goodna Special School, designing new school-based work programs, aligning all units to QCAA syllabi, and refining assessment and moderation processes - improving curriculum coherence, staff confidence, and student pathway outcomes.
P–12 Pedagogy and Curriculum Team Leadership (Ongoing)
Led a team of non-contact specialist teachers delivering curriculum across P12, embedding explicit instruction, age-appropriate contexts, and inclusive practices. Established robust assessment and reporting processes, enhancing teaching consistency and student engagement school-wide.
I lead through a relational and instructional lens, grounded in trust, clarity, and collective efficacy. I believe high-quality teaching and learning emerge from strong relationships, purposeful collaboration, and evidence-based pedagogy. My leadership empowers others to lead, cultivating professional growth, reflective practice, and continuous improvement across every context.
As an active member of my local church community, my faith informs my commitment to lead with integrity, compassion, and service. I value opportunities to model respect, empathy, and inclusion - creating learning environments where every student and staff member is seen, supported, and encouraged to flourish.
