Drawing upon my own experiences I possess firsthand experience living in youth refuges and student accommodations designed for at-risk youth, where the presence of dedicated youth workers was instrumental in my development. Additionally, family exposure to AOD issues has given me a great understanding of the complexities surrounding substance use. These experiences have cultivated resilience, empathy, and a profound commitment to positively impact the lives of individuals facing similar challenges within the community services sector.
I also bring 200 hours of hands-on experience in neighbourhood house settings, actively engaging with the community. Additionally, I've dedicated 200 hours to providing outreach support for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury.
