  • Currently, NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) and other partner agencies uses Bush Fire Risk Management System (BRIMS) to capture, track and manage risk management activities.
  • The legacy system is being replaced by the new risk management system, OCA implemented by Noggin, integrating multiple upstream and downstream systems (spatial, document repositories) like GIS, BPED, HPRM and RFS SAP systems The project involves functional, end to end, data migration, UAT and integration testing of various integration points, and the project team is setup in an onshore-offshore model.
  • The project is currently in User acceptance stage, and ready to GO LIVE in a couple of weeks.

Project description: Project 1 - Employer Access is an online portal to help the employers cut down on paper contributions and maintain their super contributions online.

  • The website was designed using .net and SharePoint technologies.
  • It was implemented for 20+ super funds and had modules facilitating the employers to register online, add/edit/delete members, access previous contribution data, make contributions online by entering data or by uploading files and to setup recurring contributions periodically.
  • The portal was integrated with clearing house to process the super payments.

Project 2 – iProcess was implemented for Business process management of Superannuation Claims process, within the organization.

  • It helped to reduce the time taken to process claims and to setup a streamlined process for processing claims.
  • It also helped to produce reports and to monitor various SLA's.
  • The workflow for scanning the inbound documents, indexing, or associating to the appropriate members, creating cases in the corresponding case queues with corresponding SLA's, was implemented using TIBCO'S suite of products.
  • TIBCO business works communicated with ESB middleware to communicate with the core system for accessing member data.
  • IProcess also integrated with HP TRIM for storing inbound documents.
  • Achievements.
  • Took charge of a multi-million systems integration for a leading superannuation administrator, which was successfully rolled out for 20 super funds within the schedule.
