• Transfer the residents from bed to chair or from chair to bed with a manual handling process.
• Turn and change the position of the residents who have the pressure area every hour or two hours according to the conditions.
• If any abnormalities are seen, inform the Registered Nurse on duty.
• Using lifters, pelican belts and slings for the safety of the residents.
• Feed the residents including breakfast, tea, lunch and dinner.
• Maintain privacy.
• Infection control.
• Deliver a range of personal care tasks, including, but not limited to daily hygiene. For example: showering; shaving; dressing; mouth and eye care.
• To carry out plans of care that will encompass social, emotional and physical needs of our residents, and based on their individual wants and desires or of those closest.
• Provide psychological support.
