I currently work full-time as an anaesthetic nurse in theatre assisting the anaesthetist with anaesthesia during each surgery. I have been very fortunate to gain extensive skills and experience in my nursing career thus far and I am eager to further develop additional and advanced competencies within my scope of practice. I have a strong desire to work as an anaesthetic nurse with the motivation to learn scrub/scout too. I believe my interests and skills align with the role of a theatre nurse. I am seeking a casual position with the possibility of transitioning to Full Time.
Prior to my current position, I worked Full Time in a preoperative/postoperative unit as an EEN admitting patients for surgery, prepping patients for surgery and discharging patients post-surgery. When I graduated in 2020 as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse I completed my New Grad the day surgery and short-stay unit at Coffs Harbour Base Hospital which gave me well-rounded fundamental skills and enabled me to develop my confidence as a newly graduated nurse.
I have developed excellent time management/ interpersonal skills and a dedicated work ethic that I am eager to utilise throughout my career.
I am seeking a full-time position in a preop/postop area which will enable me to further develop my knowledge and understanding of the profession.
