Manage site-based maintenance reliability engineering and maintenance control (M1) teams to optimise and deliver performance and equipment availability across CHPP, mobile equipment, dragline and shovel and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations through safety initiatives, risks assessments, investigations, time in field and hazard identification.
• Lead a team of reliability specialists from trade and engineering backgrounds, providing coaching and development and enabling a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion and perspective.
• Manage the development and implementation of reliability improvement strategies to reduce unplanned downtime and extend asset life.
• Oversee execution, reporting and rectification of condition monitoring activities including vibration, oil, thermography and non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Establish routines to analyse failure data and trends to implement root cause analysis (RCA) and drive continuous improvement.
• Design and execution of preventative maintenance strategies to achieve operational requirements and reduce maintenance costs through optimisation of plans based on risk assessments, analysis of failure data and collaboration with frontline maintenance and operational teams and OEM recommendations.
• Implement and manage Maintenance Control (M1) to monitor and trend asset health data to enable proactive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Develop and manage maintenance budget and monthly forecast and established cost control routines to maintain equipment availability and cost efficiency.

Coordinate and support the planned and unplanned electrical maintenance across the processing plant (CHPP) and draglines and shovels (field) to achieve equipment availability and reliability safely.

• Ensure electrical maintenance activities adhered to site safety standards, electrical codes and environmental regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, standardised isolations and implement controls to mitigate electrical hazards.
• Support electrical tradespersons with site authorisations and training and familiarisations.
• Mentor and develop electrical apprentices.
• Manage the electrical maintenance portfolio, informing strategy, data and document management and implement initiatives to achieve safer work and reduced cost and downtime.
• Collaborate with operations and other maintenance teams to align electrical maintenance activities with operational requirements.
• Identify and implement initiatives to improve electrical system performance and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including work management compliance, equipment performance, quality indicators, maintenance costs, failure rates and compliance.

Lead team of multi-skilled engineers and technical trades on-site to deliver engineering and structural projects across CHPP, draglines and dams, compliance and governance through electrical engineering (EEM) and operating standards and initiatives to remediate safety risks arising from critical controls and safety hazards.

Lead team of multi-skilled tradespeople to safely execute planned and unplanned work (fabrication, mechanical fitting, electrical, communications and shutdowns) throughout the processing plant, field maintenance and infrastructure.

Working as a reliability engineer (maintenance analysis and improvement) while undertaking an electrical cadetship (studying remotely at CQUniversity).

• Develop and manage maintenance strategies and implement improvement to drive safety and equipment performance across fixed plant, draglines, shovels, drills and excavator fleets.

Work as a production processing operator and trainer assessor following the successful completion of resource processing traineeship obtaining skills across dozer, control room, train loadout, screening, conveyors and stockpile management.
