  • Duties & Responsibilities for Aircraft Maintenance Engineer:
  • 1. Complete all repairs and maintenance work to company and NCAR Standards.
  • 2. Examine vital aircraft components including Landing gear and hydraulic systems and to locate problems such as cracks; leaks and pressure.
  • 3. Inspect Fuselage; wings and tail and check for corrosion crack and distortions.
  • 4. Removal of aircraft engine for overhaul and installing the new engine for service.
  • 5. Removal of Aircraft Landing Gear and Installing New one for Service.
  • 6. Utilize the precision instrument and equipment to look closely at the components like turbine blades for corrosion cracks and other problems.
  • 7. Respond to the weekends and after-hours emergency calls and perform work as required.
  • 8. Maintained record accuracy by using work order reporting system.
  • 9. Notify supervisors of faulty operations and defective tools and materials.
  • 10. Removed and replaced aircraft Air cycling machine.
  • 11. Carried out Gas path wash in ATR 72-500.
  • 12. Carried out Brake wheel assembly change in the fleet of Aircrafts: Beech 1900D; ATR 42- 320 and ATR 72-500.
  • 13. Carried our Nose wheel and Main Wheel assembly change in the fleet of Aircrafts: Beech 1900D; ATR 42-320 and ATR 72-500.
  • 14. Carried out Master Cylinder Change in Beech 1900 D Braking systems.
