  • Review of submissions arising from community consultation on Draft Glenorchy Planning Scheme 2013 and ensure their validity and provide appropriate feedback on each submission.
  • Assist in identifying new urban growth boundaries (UGB) for Glenorchy City using GIS tools such as Exponare and new planning scheme map, and assist senior planner in checking and validating the UGB by analyzing its consistency with the new planning scheme.
  • Assist senior strategic planner to investigate and identify new heritage sites and list newly identified sites on the new planning scheme map.
  • Engage with development assessment planners during assessment of varieties of development applications, as well as, participate in counter enquiries, site visits and community consultation programs/meetings.
  • Site visits with city strategy manager to familiarize with various land use and pattern of development activities within different zones and resource units that has significant potential for planning opportunities.
