Accomplishments

    Mitsubishi Motors Tonsley Park Manufacturing:

I designed a system of padded fixture guards to help mitigate injuries caused by sharp automotive components, resulting in a significant decrease in lost time injuries.

I developed a way to repair certain previously inaccessible welds on finished car bodies, which led to a significant reduction in scrap. This also led to gain of my Australian Safety Standard Legislation welding qualification.

    BTM Turf Group:

I implemented a system whereby a truck could be fitted with an auxiliary diesel tank and pump, allowing the site operator to refuel machinery without the need to leave the work site. This of course saved money and time.

Modified several of the machines and trucks in the fleet which resulted in more flexibility with transport.

Headed the procurement of a forklift for the depot, which resulted in ease of internal logistics, reducing manual handling and increasing safety when unloading trucks.

Interests

My interests are reasonably vast, but somewhat connected to my skillset Included are things such as electronics, robotics, 3D printing, prototyping and radio control
