I prepared and assembled food items according to standard recipes to ensure consistent quality. During shifts, I kept kitchen workstations clean, organised, and hygienic while safely operating kitchen equipment. I worked closely with other team members to keep service running smoothly during busy periods and communicated with front-of-house staff to ensure orders were delivered correctly and on time. I followed all food safety and hygiene requirements, including proper food storage and sanitation, and also helped train new employees on the safe and correct use of kitchen equipment.

I handled customer transactions efficiently at the front counter and assisted customers with product questions and service requests. I greeted customers in a friendly and professional manner while providing reliable service in a fast-paced environment. I worked closely with my team to keep the front counter organised, clean, and fully stocked, including wiping down surfaces and restocking items when needed. I also learned duties across other areas of the store to help cover shifts and ensure smooth daily operations.

I have completed one week worth of work experience at pets world North Lakes, achieving cleanliness and care for the animals, those include birds, guinea pigs, rats, mice and fish.

I have also completed 100 hours of placement at Animals at Oakey Flat, in which I witnessed surgeries. I cared and cleaned for the animals and also helped in providing medication and safety for injured and sick animals. These animals include mostly cats and dogs.
