I am currently back at The Man from Snowy River Hotel for my second snow season and will be finishing up here in october or when required.

I worked as a bartender at the Burleigh Pavilion, an extremely high-traffic, highly-rated venue located on the Gold Coast, Australia. The venue attracts over 1,000 patrons every Friday and Saturday night, requiring fast-paced, continuous service of cocktails and other mixed beverages until 3 a.m. Following service, I was responsible for an extensive, detailed clean-up and pack-down process. My role required me to maintain a high level of efficiency and attention to detail, ensuring excellent customer experiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as cocktails and mocktails in a timely and professional manner.
• Engage with guests, ensuring they have an exceptional experience
• Maintain an organized, clean, and stocked bar area, adhering to health and safety standards
• Ensure alcohol is served responsibly, checking IDs and following the venues policies on responsible service.

Bartender doing 40 - 50 hours a week working behind a fast paced bar and cocktail bar, Participating in services such as

• Selling and pouring drinks/cocktails
• Opening/closing the bar
• Constantly observing the venue
• Controlling the bar
• Taking deliveries
• Completing weekly Stock Takes
• Counting money
• Removing patrons who disrupt others' enjoyment and safety in the venue.
• Striving to provide the best possible level of service for the customer

• Started as a dishwasher working long night hours after school, at least 25 hours a week. Worked in food preparation and then upgraded to the bar after turning 18, working 30+ hours a week serving customers, pouring drinks and cocktails, and organizing the bar. Also worked with the forklift organizing cartons and beer kegs. Closed the bar 2-3 times a week, staying past 12 to clean and organize the bar and count the gaming money from that day.
