- During the graduating program rotation, I worked in a range of departments within the company, including the quality departments, masonry, quarries, concrete plants, and the concrete laboratory
- Throughout my technical rotation, I gained extensive knowledge about high-performance and low-emission concrete, as well as a variety of applications, including QESTLab, QESTMix, Geo-Tester, and Command Concrete
- Working in the concrete lab gave me the chance to take part in several concrete trials, including creating mix designs for high performance concrete and testing concrete mixes based on low carbon emission cement
- During my second rotation in the graduating program, I had the opportunity to work at various quarries producing aggregates, sandstone-based soil, and alluvial soils
- While employed as a Graduate Civil Engineer, I had the opportunity to create safe work method statements, site inductions, on-site environmental management for quarries, concrete labs, and concrete plants, among many other site-specific safety documentations
- I also had the chance to assist the lab manager in updating the Laboratory Quality Manual, calibration worksheets, concrete and aggregate testing worksheets, and lab paperwork during the NATA audit
- Additionally, I had the chance to create and revise the Pollution Incident Response Management Plan for the plants and quarries while studying the essential elements of incident reporting
