My daily duties involve conducting fire system tests of inspecting and maintaining fire alarms, sprinkler systems, Pumps, fire doors, and extinguishers in accordance with Australian Standards (AS1851). I troubleshoot system faults, perform equipment installations and repairs, and ensure all fire safety measures meet regulatory compliance. Additionally, I respond to emergency maintenance calls, collaborate with fire authorities and regulatory bodies, and provide technical guidance to clients regarding fire safety best practices. Managing fire safety equipment inventory and mentoring new technicians are also key aspects of my role.
