Teaching (Intomed)

• Involved in multiple teaching opportunities for junior employees and students including running basic medical interpretation workshops and basic ECG interpretation workshops at Griffith University whilst working at Gold Coast University Hospital, from 2021 onwards.

Mental Health Grants Application Database

• Created a database with fellow MD students under supervision of A. Prof. Chris Stapelberg at Gold Coast University Hospital. The purpose of this project was to facilitate and streamline sources of funding for fellow students and medical professionals when seeking grants or funding for medical research.
• This was later expanded to also include journals and other locations that these projects could be published in once finalised.

Clinical Audit - Quality Improvement Project

• Analysed data in both Gold Coast and Robina Hospital emergency departments concerning utility and rationale for knee x-rays in patients presenting with acute knee pain over a year
• The purpose of this QIP was to determine whether the GCHHS adhered to currently accepted standard of care (Ottawa Knee Rules) with respect to ordering knee x-rays, and if not, what could be done to improve this and what was the current financial and time cost of not following the guidelines.
