• Perform Precise Concrete Cutting:Operate a variety of cutting equipment, including , wall saws, wire saws, road saw, ring saw and hand saws. Competent in petrol/electric/hydraulic/high frequency operations to floor, wall inverted applications to execute precise cuts in concrete structures.
  Conduct core drilling floor/wall/inverted to create openings and penetrations for pipes, wires, and other utilities.
  
• Equipment Maintenance and Operation: Maintain and perform routine inspections on all cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed to minimize downtime and ensure project continuity.
  
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OH&S regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety measures among team members to prevent accidents and injuries.
  
• Project Execution: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine accurate cutting dimensions and methods.
  Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
  
  
• Quality Control: Inspect completed cuts and drilled holes to ensure they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
  Make adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired outcome and avoid rework.
  
  
• Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of cutting and drilling equipment and activities, including measurements, equipment usage, and project progress.
  Prepare and submit reports to supervisors and project managers detailing completed tasks and any issues encountered.
  
• Training and Supervision: Provide training and guidance to junior concrete cutters and other team members to enhance their skills and ensure safety.
  Supervise work crews to ensure adherence to project plans and safety standards.
