Help monitor and assess students’ academic progress, providing feedback and reporting on any areas of difficulty
Working with students at varying levels of Chinese language ability, from beginners to advanced learners, and helping them with speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Assist students in developing their Chinese conversational skills, especially by conducting speaking practice sessions or helping with pronunciation.
Help the teacher prepare lesson materials, such as Chinese recording, worksheets, reading comprehension passages, vocabulary lists, and visual aids.
Assist in supervising students during tests or exams in AARA venue or single venue, ensuring they are following instructions and maintaining a focused environment.

Support classroom teachers with lesson delivery by helping prepare materials and providing extra guidance to students who need it during activities and lessons.
Assist with classroom routines, ensuring that all students are engaged and stay on task, especially those who may struggle with focus or attention.
Help modify or adapt learning materials and classroom resources to suit the varying learning abilities of students. This could include simplifying instructions, using visual aids, or providing extra time for tasks.
Provide support for students who have behavioural challenges, helping them to stay focused, manage their emotions, and interact appropriately with their peers.
Support students in developing their independent learning skills by promoting self-regulation, time management, and problem-solving strategies.
Offer emotional support to students, particularly those who may experience anxiety, frustration, or difficulties with self-esteem, ensuring that they feel safe and supported in the classroom.
