Since 2018, I have been working in Recruitment and Talent Acquisition, hiring for roles in Engineering, Data, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Finance. Most recently, I have worked in TA within the FMCG and Fintech industries. I am highly adaptable and bring proven experience recruiting successfully across a wide range of functions and seniority levels.
I was initially hired to join the S2M Digital Marketing recruitment team, but was redeployed to the IT team due to an increase in demand for technical roles and my developing interest in the field. I was responsible for managing key accounts for S2M, sourcing top-tier Engineers, Data Scientists, and Analytics professionals across Australia.
Through my commitment to delivering a supportive and insightful interviewing experience, I consistently received positive feedback from both candidates and clients alike. My dedication and hard work were recognized during the lockdown period, where I was awarded the S2M 'Employee of the Quarter' award.
At Greythorn, I focused on both permanent and contract positions for sales and marketing professionals in IT. I reported to the manager of engineering, who looked after three consultants, including myself. I was in the office for around six weeks before we started working from home for the next few months. Ultimately, COVID-19 affected the business drastically, and I finished working at Greythorn after only four months. Achievements: · Six deals throughout the pandemic. · Brought on two new large enterprise accounts.
As a new recruitment consultant, I started out by sourcing candidates and eventually moved into a full 360 Consultant position. I focused on Data Science and Software Engineering recruitment in the IT Sector. The position was based in London whilst working the Nordic Market which meant regularly travelling to Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In this time, we worked with companies such as Spotify (Stockholm), Trustpilot (Copenhagen) and Cisco (Oslo). Throughout my first full year as a 360 consultant, I billed 129% of annual target, was promoted from a Trainee Consultant to an Associate Consultant to a Principal Consultant (titles are different in Australia). I also organised a series of Networking events in relation to my market in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo for Heads of Sales.
Commercial Property Group (CPG) is a Commercial real estate agency based out of Bankstown, Sydney. My role initially was to assist the Managing Director with leasing and selling of properties. I would take enquiries over the phone, show relevant people through properties, take offers, negotiate terms, help with leasing agreements and after the deal, maintain a relationship with both parties. After 6 months, I became a Sales and Leasing Executive which gave the additional responsibilities of finding listings without the assistance of the MD. Working at CPG, taught me the value of networking, negotiation, active listening, time management and hard work. In this time, I billed $240,000 with a target of $180,000 in my final year. I also listed an Industrial Warehouse and sold it within the first 6 months of working at CPG. This property sold for $70,000 over reserve.
