Throughout my time at Brownes Dairy my role was to fix breakdowns on various different food production machines, motors, valves, instrumentation equipment and site services.

Working with 1 or 2 fitters depending on our shift rotation I also spent a lot of time fixing mechanical breakdowns when we were flooded with multiple simultaneously.

After 2 years of working here I was put through my Cert IV in electrotechnology allowing me to take leading hand in planning, co-ordination and servicing of the many different types of instrumentation devices. Including Temperature probes, Flow meters, Pressure transmitters, Level probes, Conductivity probes and installation of all the above.

Working leading hand in this field I was involved with the automation team and a developed a basic understanding of how to maintain, service and install instruments as well as how to programme it.

I'll list some things that I was completing on a day to day basis.
