- The experience from Dawson's Engineering sparked an interest in working on ADF vessels, which led me to Control Point Rescue.
- Maintained the Team Lead position across numerous Australian Defence vessels during maintenance periods.
- Emergency response over all vessels i am assigned to. Fire, Confined Space Rescue, Toxic hazard and mustering all personnel and sweeping entire vessel during an evacuation.
- Managed and delegated a team to ensure all contractors working within the scope and correct procedures.
- Issuing permits for all high risk work and controls for safe and quality completion of tasks.
- Deconflicting of works.
- Engaging with contractors and client representatives to strive for completion within the set schedule.

- FIFO to numerous mines, including Cannington, Gun Powder, and Groote Island, which entailed shutdown periods, including mill re-lines, conveyor belt replacements, upgrades on numerous machinery, and environmental controls.
- I was then put in a leading role to upgrade, service and maintain all water dosing treatment plants around the Cairns region.
- Dawson's Engineering then sub contracted me out to BAE Systems which involved managing high risk tasks, isolations, issuing permits and OQE for all Hydrographic Survey vessels (Leeuwin, Melville, Shepparton and Benalla) during their maintenance periods.
