The skills which I learnt and developed at Spruced Up Hair Design and Pandoras Hair Witchery gave me the confidence to begin my journey building my own portfolio of clientele and managing a successful business.

My time was generally spent servicing clients from my home however, there were times were I was required to be mobile and frequently visited clients across Newcastle.

In 2014 I started my apprenticeship at Pandoras Hair Witchery successfully completing my training which led to role as a Senior Stylist.

My time at Pandoras Hair built on the foundations I began learning at Spruced Up Hair Design and gave me the confidence to apply those skills to a wide and varied base of clientele.

Day to day, it was my responsibility to:

- Organise and implement staff meetings which included staff development

- Managing and recording stock levels

- Training of junior staff members

- Actively listening to and managing customer complaints through to resolution

• Taking customer orders, cash handling, managing drive through orders and working independently, front of kitchen operation, actively listening to and taking customer orders and communicating them to front of house staff members for execution, maintaining service standards and promoting excellent customer service.

• Greeting clients and assisting with their requests, assisting senior hairstylist with basin work, taking and organising bookings, managing the senior stylists schedule, salon maintenance including ensuring shop cleanliness.
