Accomplishments

  • Committed to promoting health and wellbeing both personally and professionally, recently I completed an Ironman event, showcasing my dedication to physical fitness and resilience. I bring this same level of commitment and enthusiasm to championing health initiatives within the workplace.
  • Each year I lead a Steptember team within the Northern Sydney Local Health District. In 2021 I was placed in the top 10 steppers in NSLHD and 1st at Ryde Hospital. This created friendly competition within the hospital and encouraged team members and employees to be more active.
  • I have competed in multiple triathlons, half marathon and cycling events fundraising for Cure Brain Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Cystic Fibrosis.
  • I am currently leading a Quality Improvement Project to improve the Vestibular Physiotherapy Service at Ryde Hospital. As part of this project we were successful in receiving $2000 to purchase Vestibular Goggles. As part of the project I liaised with external stakeholders to organise a one day Vestibular Course for other colleagues.
  • Involved in championing and advocating for "April Falls" Prevention month by facilitating and participating in a balance competition between staff. I successfully won $500 worth of blaze pods which are used to facilitate balance and falls exercises in therapy
