PERSONAL INTERESTS

Running, Badminton and Pilates: 

  • I have enjoyed these active hobbies since high school and find them paramount to ensuring that during my time off I can fully reset so that I am in my best condition in the hospital. I enjoy the teamwork aspect needed during badminton matches and the challenges of focusing on each precise movement during Pilates for muscle isolation.


Language Learning: 

  • Starting during high school, I have a keen interest in learning about different cultures through language. I can currently speak both English and Mandarin. I enjoy how it allows me to connect with others both within the hospital and on a global scale.


Music 

  • I enjoy playing the clarinet. and piano. Having completed Grade 8 Australian Musical Examinations Board in piano and Grade 8 – Level 3 Trinity Certificate in Graded Examination in Music Performance in clarinet has allowed me to build perseverance and diligence to play at a high level.
  • I enjoy playing solo as well as in orchestras where there is the opportunity to meet other musicians.
