Liaised with both local and State Government through the applications for grants which were successful in establishing both playing fields and a clubhouse to provide Woodford with a facilities for cricket. These grounds then opened way for Woodford to run a touch football competition for both Juniors and Seniors.
Introduced a Milo Have a Go Cricket programme through Queensland cricket into local Schools including Woodford, Delaneys Creek, Mt Mee and Kilcoy
I was able to remain involved in both Junior Clubs as President and later Vice President until Joining the Queensland Police Service in 2003
