I enjoy a well balanced lifestyle focusing on the importance of family and community. I enjoy watching most sports with preference shown to Cricket and Rugby League.

I was able to introduce and establish Junior Rugby League and Junior Cricket within my local community to support and represent Stanley River Woodford. Liaised with both local and State Government through the applications for grants which were successful in establishing both playing fields and a clubhouse to provide Woodford with a facilities for cricket. These grounds then opened way for Woodford to run a touch football competition for both Juniors and Seniors.

Introduced a Milo Have a Go Cricket programme through Queensland cricket into local Schools including Woodford, Delaneys Creek, Mt Mee and Kilcoy

I was able to remain involved in both Junior Clubs as President and later Vice President until Joining the Queensland Police Service in 2003
