With seven years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry, I have gained expertise across various sectors of food and beverage service.
Additionally, I completed a diploma in Post Production in 2022, further broadening my skill set in the screen and media industry. I am enthusiastic about embracing new opportunities that allow me to grow both personally and professionally, while expanding my portfolio.
As event staff, I am responsible for setting up and packing down tables, ensuring all necessary items are in place, such as cutlery, side plates, glasses, napkins, salt and pepper, tablecloths, and seating. Additionally, I performed various tasks including waiting and clearing tables, delivering drinks to guests, bartending, and serving drinks and canapés upon guest arrival.
I worked as a bartender at The Star property in Brisbane, with the majority of my shifts taking place at the Livewire Bar, alongside occasional side-shifts at the Cherry Bar and Sports Bar. My responsibilities included pouring beer, wine, and spirits, as well as crafting cocktails, and brewing coffee. Additionally, I was responsible for maintaining cleanliness, which involved cleaning service surfaces, stocking glassware, and ensuring the bar area was consistently organized and well-stocked.
I began my hospitality journey in 2018 at the DFO Donut King store, where I developed a wide range of skills, from cooking cinnamon donuts and hot dogs to mastering barista techniques and preparing milkshakes. In addition to food and beverage preparation, I also gained experience in money handling, customer service, and stock management. After leaving DFO in 2019, I moved to a location closer to home, where I continued to build on and refine these skills. In February 2023, I took on opening shifts, where I learned how to handle the baking process, including icing the donuts and preparing everything for the day's service.
