Accomplishments

Combined multiple tool stores onsite into one, this project for continuous improvement allowed the company to have much larger pool of tooling to choose from. this meant that the tool store was staffed 24/7, as each department conducted their shutdown maintenance on differing schedules the demand reduced allowing the combined tooling to be maintained at a significantly lower cost.

All four tool stores held their own BOC gasses. The gas storage facilities were at regulatory requirements. The company was spending $180,000 a month on BOC gas site wide, I analysed what the site requirements were at peak times of maintenance and reduced the companies cost by $80,000 a month.
